Disability awareness month
Easter Seals Arc, the Northeast Indiana Disability Awareness Coalition and Mayor Tom Henry are proclaiming March as Disability Awareness Month at 11 a.m. Friday at Easter Seals Arc of Northeast Indiana, 4919 Coldwater Road. The event is free.

Disability interns sought
The Arc is seeking students with disabilities to be Disability Public Policy Interns. The position pays $3,000 per semester or summer session and will be located at The Arc's public policy office in Washington, D.C. Applications for the summer term are due March 8, and applications for the fall term are due May 15.

Nursing classes online
The University of Indianapolis School of Nursing will offer their RN-to-BSN program online beginning this fall. The program can be completed in 12 months. The program is currently accepting applications and is open to licensed nurses currently working in Indiana. Financial aid is available and students will have the flexibility to move from the hybrid to online format, or vice versa, as their circumstances change.
