Faith briefs: Service and faith formation workshop planned

CALVARY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 6301 Winchester Road, will have a steak dinner and musical variety show at 6:30 p.m. March 16. Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for ages under 13. Reservations required: 747-9218 by March 11.CENTER FOR CONGREGATIONS will hold a workshop, “Service and Faith Formation in the Congregation,” 9 a.m.-4 p.m. March 22 at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, 5100 Gaywood Drive. $30 a person, $25 a person for congregational groups of three or more. CONCORDIA THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY, 6600 N. Clinton St., will have the Seminary Guild meet at noon March 12.

EPWORTH UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 105 W. 8th St., Matthews, will present Soul'd Out Quartet in concert at 7 p.m. March 15. Admission is free. A chicken noodle dinner is served 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m. March 17; donations accepted. Michael English will perform in concert at 7 p.m. June 28. $20 advance, $25 at the door. INDIANA CENTER FOR MIDDLE EAST PEACE will present Leila Buck, writer, actress and peacemaker, at 7 p.m. Thursday at Plymouth Congregation Church, 501 W. Berry St.
