He opened The Yellow Bird on June 2 with the goal of providing an all-ages venue where people could enjoy live music, he told The News-Sentinel last May.
After remodeling, the building could seat about 250 people on the main floor for a concert, he said in the previous interview.

Calhoun St., The Tiger Room.
The show is the story of Janet Worth, a bubbly, well-meaning lady who finds herself in many troubled situations.
Tickets are $15 if purchased before March 10 and $20 afterward. Tickets are limited, so advance purchase is suggested at Calhoun Street Soups, Salads and Sprits or from any cast/crew members or by contacting the box office.

In addition, auditions for “The Ritz” will be held at 6-8 p.m. March 18 at Calhoun Street Soups, Salads and Spirits. The show calls for five main characters and a small chorus. Actors age 18-55 are needed. Cold readings will be done from the script. Those chosen will be compensated for their work.
