TERRE HAUTE – Canterbury's plans for a fifth girls basketball state title were in serious jeopardy in the final three minutes as Vincennes Rivet closed within one point.

But big plays by senior Bailey Farley and junior Kindell Fincher helped hold off Vincennes Rivet and give Canterbury a 42-35 win in the Class A state championship game on Saturday at the Hulman Center.
