Three cheers for 3rd District Rep. Marlin Stutzman for making a pitch to a 400-job company to relocate in Indiana and even consider the northeast section of the state.
The company is Beretta, one of the largest gun manufacturers in the country, which announced it was considering a move away from Maryland after that state prepared to enact of one the strictest gun control laws in the nation. Several states have wooed the company, and now Stutzman has put in our bid. Here, he said, the company would find a much more pro-business and gun-friendly climate.
Indeed.
