Long-term care facility, Habitat for Humanity file project plans

Long Term Care Investments LLC of South Bend has filed plans a $15 million, 53,345 square-foot skilled nursing care facility on 5.5 acres of the site that was to have been the Ridgewood Medical Park at Aboite Center and West Jefferson. The Fort Wayne Plan Commission could consider the proposal next month. Fort Wayne Habitat for Humanity, meanwhile, has filed plans to develop its first large-scale residential area in Fort Wayne. Melting snow could bring flooding to Fort Wayne area

The National Weather Service is warning that higher temperatures this weekend could cause the large amount of snow the area received this week to melt and lead to potential flooding.
