A snow day from school gave area kids an opportunity to get out and enjoy the snow Wednesday. Reservoir Park's hill had multiple sledders and tubers and even a few snowman builders.Edger Martinez and his brother Abraham Martinez, 14, built a snowman at Wednesday afternoon. The boys said they love to build gigantic ones in their front yard but were using the basketball court at the park Wednesday. Helping the two brothers were their sisters Diana Martinez, 17, and Fransisca Martinez, 12.

Sledders like Miguel Villalobs and Brian Lopez, 9, flew down the hill at the park. They, along with at least 40 other individuals, were taking advantage of the day off school to hit the slopes.

Rain and 50-degree temperatures are predicted for Sunday, so the snow won't be around long.
