Closure of Van Buren Street Bridge postponed
Because of inclement weather, the Allen County Highway Department has canceled a closure of the Van Buren Street Bridge over the St. Marys River that was initially scheduled for Monday through Friday.
The closure, which would have affected Van Buren between Superior and High streets, has been postponed until further notice. The closure was scheduled for log-jam removal work.
Sherman Street closure postponed
A closure of Sherman Street at the bridge over the St. Marys River, initially scheduled to last Monday through Friday, has been postponed until further notice, according to the city traffic engineering department. The closure was scheduled so a crane could remove debris from the base of the bridge.
Smith Road to be closed
Smith Road will be closed between Dalman and Lower Huntington roads from 9 a.m. Monday until 3 p.m. Tuesday for the installation of a cross pipe underneath the road, according to the Allen County Highway Department.
Closure of Gump Road extended
A closure of Gump Road between Auburn and Coldwater roads has been extended through April 19, according to the Allen County Highway Department. The closure, which was originally scheduled to end March 15, is for the installation of a sanitary sewer along Gump.
