“Absolutely thrilling” – that describes last Saturday’s (March 2) Philharmonic concert. Three standing ovations! From the first piece, Ravel’s “Bolero,” then a wonderful compilation of “West Side Story” melodies and finally one of the most challenging and beautiful oratorios, featuring over 100 voices along with a fantastic guest soloist. All deserving of those standing ovations! Our Philharmonic concerts continually remind us of our good fortune to have these wonderfully talented musicians in our community. Maestro Constantine is a joy to watch as he conducts the orchestra, bringing out the best of their talents.

If you have not attended a concert, treat yourself to an evening of great entertainment. Thank you to all who were involved in the presentation of Saturday’s concert.
