"Chasing Ice" comes to Fort Wayne's Cinema Center

"Chasing Ice," the story of one man's mission to gather evidence of our changing planet, will play at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Cinema Center, 437 E. Berry St., according to a news release."Chasing Ice" is brought to Fort Wayne audiences through sponsorship by the Northeast Indiana Sustainable Business Council (NISBC), a nonprofit organization offering businesses in the area training and certification through its Bright Green Business program.

The film has earned Excellence in Cinematography: US Documentary at the Sundance Film Festival and 22 other awards at film festivals around the world.

There will be a reception afterward for attendees to share their observations and participate in a discussion about how the planet is changing and the growing need to implement sustainable practices in our businesses and homes. Throughout the reception information will be offered about the initiatives of businesses and the NISBC to help our region become more sustainable.

Space is limited and tickets must be purchased at Cinema Center by Friday in order to attend. There is no additional cost for ticket holders to attend the reception. For information, please visit www.cinemacenter.org or www.chasingice.com.
