In its never-satisfied quest to be sensational and to be first, whether accurate or not, the MSM reported that an employee refused to administer CPR to 87-year-old Lorraine Bayless, who subsequently succumbed. How heartless, how insensitive, how cruel can one get? But, wait a minute, as Paul Harvey used to say, “Here’s the rest of the story.”
It seems that Lorraine voluntarily and by choice moved into the facility, which is independent living with no medical staff. The family stated that she wished to die naturally without any prolonging intervention.
But that wouldn’t make the headlines, would it? Come on, man! Do a little homework before cranking out a sensational headline and ruining the reputation of the staff member.
