If budget cuts have affected IPFW so severely that parking lots, sidewalks and entrances into parking garages cannot be plowed before 10 a.m., then classes should be canceled accordingly. It was no surprise in the amount of snow received March 5-6, and it is inexcusable that parking lots and sidewalks were not plowed.
Background checks are a good idea, Mr. President. Let's start with you!
Cinema Center wants to stay open, but first upgrades should be made to the sound system. The dialogue of the movies is unclear and inaudible.
The fools in Washington can't come to any agreement on anything. So our great president decides to punish the children, by closing the White House to them. Yep, Obama is a great man.
Sequestration — another brilliant idea! Lay off people who have jobs so they won't spend money out in the world. I'm so glad that … (government leaders) didn't bother to look at the broken welfare/unemployment/disabity systems.
Why can't the (Allen) County Highway Department maintain Highway 1 (Bluffton Road) between Ferguson Road and Interstate 469? It is always icy and snow-covered, yet south of I-469, which is maintained by the State Highway Department, is always clear?
I didn't join the NRA so they could spend my money sponsoring a NASCAR race for a bunch of rednecks. I joined so they would keep the government's hands off of my guns. The prize money that they will give away is wasted. I will not renew my membership.
Golf — It amazes me that, … (in mid-February), we the people paid for the president to fly Air Force One to Florida to play golf with Tiger Woods. Then … (the U.S. Secret Service) announces there is not enough money in the budget to keep the White House tours open for school children.
What a great impression (Dennis Rodman made in North Korea). Especially telling them their leaders are great. It commands such respect that they now threaten to nuke us.
