Homestead soccer star signs letter of intent

Chris Anderson led the team in scoring as a defender

Homestead High School senior Chris Anderson has signed a letter of intent to continue his soccer career at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio.

Anderson, a two-time team captain, led the team with 16 goals and five assists in helping Homestead to the Northeast Hoosier Conference title and sectional championship. He was named first-team all-conference, all-district and academic all-state.

He was third-team all-state as a defender. Cedarville is a NCAA Division II school in the Great Midwestern Athletic Conference.
