There was nothing much Komets coach Al Sims or his team could do.Nine shots, six goals I think it was in the first period. Obviously the first goal was unbelievable, to put it mildly. Everything they shot went in. We had some chances at their net, but couldn't get anything home until the third period. Unfortunately, the game got out of hand. They put the puck where he wasn't. They are a very good team, they have 90 points and you can see why. They have very skilled forwards and a fast, quick defense that can move the puck, and their goaltender I thought played well. Whether it's 2-1 or 8-2, it really doesn't matter because we needed to win the game and we didn't.You just try to motivate them and get them going. We were down 6-0, and for a team that doesn't score much, that was a tall task. We wanted to come into the third period and get something positive out of the game. We wanted to win the third period, and we got that done and hopefully we can carry that into Friday. We have to try to win every game. That's all we can do. We're 10 points out, and Toledo won and we have five games left.I thought he played pretty well. He tried to get a guy to engage with him in a fight but the guy wouldn't fight him, obviously. The game was out of hand. He's a tough kid, and I thought he skates pretty well and has good size and hits pretty hard. For his first game at this level I thought he did pretty well. They got some breaks. We didn't get any breaks, and like I said, a lot of their shots were seeing eye shots that found the top corner. It was a tough night for our goaltenders, that's for sure. It's been tough. A lot of posts and crossbars this year for sure. We've had trouble around the net all year offensively, and defensively I didn't think we were up to snuff from that point of view. It's been a rough year.
