Indiana coach Tom Crean spoke with the media following the Hoosiers' Sweet 16 loss to Syracuse at Washington D.C. on Thursday night“We have had a heck of ride with this group. It doesn't feel like that tonight, and it won't feel like it for a couple of days, maybe longer. But the bottom line is this group has come so far, and I hope at some point the guys on this team remember that they did things that hadn't been done in 20 years at Indiana.”“Syracuse swarms to the ball when the ball is around the basket, when it's in the short-corner area. There were a couple of times we could have kicked it out. A couple of times I thought we would be at the foul line and it didn't happen. They have great length. At times you have to power through it. At times we did and at times we didn't.”“When we look back at it, we know these guys came in and made this program big-time again. We will feel good about that. There are a lot of things to celebrate, but it's hard to put that into context or perspective right now.”“I'm sure the strength and the size of the Syracuse guards had something to do with that. We got tentative shooting, which we didn't need to do. We had some turnovers early. We prepared for the zone, there's no doubt about it, but it wasn't meant to be with that.”
