Fort Wayne Police were searching for two suspects in a boy's fatal shooting Wednesday afternoon in the 900 block of Hugh Street. According to Fort Wayne Police Chief Rusty York, the shooting occurred around 12:32 p.m. A juvenile male was fatally shot in the back yard of a home in that block. READ MORE

More than a year after bank robbery, suspects face federal charges

More than a year after a New Haven bank was robbed, federal charges in the case have been filed against two Allen County men who were arrested Tuesday evening. Matthew Lester Vanschoick, 28, and Michael Clayton Bure, 27, were charged with robbing PNC Bank, 411 Lincoln Highway West, New Haven, on Oct. 28, 2011, according to a news release from the FBI. Nonprofit wants to double the survival rate of lung cancer by 2022

Two years ago she joined the National Lung Cancer Partnership, which advocates research, awareness and change. Rousseau Centre repairs could cost Allen County $2 million

Preventing leaks into the basement of the former City-County Building could cost Allen County government more than $2 million. The County Commissions on Friday are expected to approve a $75,650 contract with the architecture firm MartinRiley, which will assess the condition of the membrane beneath the plaza surrounding what is now called the Rousseau Centre at Main and Calhoun streets. Fort Wayne teen dies during Florida trip

A 15-year-old Fort Wayne boy died during a spring break trip to Florida with a Christian youth group, according to The News-Herald newspaper of Panama City, Fla. Nick Prindle was at the Panama City Beach in the Florida panhandle, playing in the surf, the newspaper reported, before he came out of the water, started coughing and then collapsed at around 2 p.m. Sunday.
