Now I see that the Dallas Cowboys have given Tony (“No Show”) Romo a contract worth $108 million. I always knew that Cowboys fans were crazy, and now I know the team management is too. That is $108 million for one playoff victory in six seasons. The Cowboys are the new Cubs.

The national unemployment rate is 7.7 percent (for February). In Indiana it is 8.7 percent and Allen County it's 8.9 percent. Looks like the right to work for less law which took up a whole legislative session is really working. Backwards thinking by a backwards state.

To the ranter (who wants gays at proms) who is trying to equate gay sex choice with race. Dude, try to focus. Homosexuality has nothing to do with race.

Marriage equality should not be put to a popular vote. Why not? In Lincoln's time, if slavery were put to a popular vote, it would have been defeated. And if it were put to a vote today, all of the South and parts of the Midwest (Indiana included) would vote it down. The same thing would happen in a marriage equality vote. It should be the legislature or the courts that give minorities equal rights because the majority won't.

What's happening to the Christians in this country? (All the gay voting and stuff.) God and common sense made this country, and both are leaving this country very quickly!

Maybe same-sex partnerships would get more respect if they stopped calling it a marriage and referred to it as a civil union. The point is equal benefits for the partners, not producing children. It's all civil activity based on commitment to another. This would still satisfy the true meaning of marriage as originally meant.

Ex-IPFW Chancellor (Michael) Wartell did not need a special assistant. New Chancellor (Vicky L.) Carwein needs one at a six-figure salary. At the same time, she is cutting programs right and left. … Shame on Chancellor Carwein. Don't you want young parents to succeed?

And so, for the 26th straight year and counting, failure, for the (IU) Hoosiers (men's basketball team). But then, we're all used to that by now, aren't we?

Glad the Fort Wayne cops can continue to harrass soccer moms at Cook/Coldwater roads for going 40 mph in a 35 (mph zone) when multiple homicides take place in the inner city. Someone just fire them and save the city cash.

The only way that (school voucher) program is fair is if the families who receive them pay tax on the money just like it was ordinary income. Otherwise, the state should send every parent a nice big check.

Will our senators, congressmen and president be required to participate in Obamacare just like all the rest of us? Given that they are always certain that they receive the best of everything, I would feel much more comfortable if they were along for the same ride we're on.

Instead of spending so much time on addressing the issues of gay marriage and gun control, could our politicians please get to work on the much larger and more significant problems involving the economy and tax reform.
