Soccer, food and fun coming to town Saturday

It's great soccer, fun and it's dirt cheap, what's not to like?The Shindigz National Soccer Festival continues the spring time tradition for only $5 and returns to the Fort Wayne Sport Club (3102 Ardmore Ave.) on Saturday as 2012 national champion Indiana University takes on the University of Notre Dame at 5 p.m.

“You can feel the 'cabin fever' here in Fort Wayne," Shindigz National Soccer Festival President Terry Stefankiewicz said in a release. "Shindigz National Soccer Festival has got the cure in the form of Indiana University vs. University of Notre Dame men's soccer. Gather up the family and come on out to the Fort Wayne Sport Club and enjoy the highest level of men's collegiate soccer!”

Enjoy the highest level of men's collegiate soccer at the area's best soccer club venue - plus, half-time activities and more including autograph and photo opportunities with both teams after the game!

Purchase discount advance tickets for only $5 at participating Fort Wayne-area Walgreen's locations, all Connolly's Do-It-Best Hardware stores and 800˚ Restaurants.

Tickets will be $7 for all at the gate on the day of the event.

Not only will there be a great soccer game, but also many other activities available to attendees.

Fort Wayne Sport Club will have a beer tent and Hall's Catering will be providing other general concession services.

Full face painting will be available for kids for $5 as well.

Both teams will also be available following the game for autograph and photo opportunities with fans.
