Third former University of Saint Francis athlete pleads guilty in Fort Wayne sex assault

The last of three former athletes from a Fort Wayne college has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting an incapacitated woman at a party.Former University of Saint Francis football player Austin Bower pleaded guilty to rape Friday in Allen Superior Court. His sentencing is scheduled for May 13.

Our media partner WANE, NewsChannel 15, reports the victim told police in 2011 that Bower and two other men raped her when she lay down after drinking vodka. Investigators found apparent photos of the assault on Bower's cellphone.

Alexander Beierwalter pleaded guilty to rape in January. He played one Saint Francis game before quitting the team.

Former basketball walk-on Troy Turner pleaded guilty to sexual battery Tuesday.

Neither has been sentenced. All three men are 23 and left the school in 2011.
