A Fort Wayne man told police that he was held at gunpoint Monday night by would-be robbers who found nothing to steal when they searched him.Police were called shortly after 10 p.m. Monday by the victim, who said the robbery happened on Hazelwood Avenue. While walking along that street, he said, two men approached him and ordered him to get on the ground. He said he did as they told him. One of them held a gun to his head while the other searched his pockets.

They didn't steal anything from him, but he later discovered that he couldn't find his keys. He did not know whether he lost them or the men stole them.

The victim described the robbers as black, 16-18 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, with dark complexions. Both wore black hoodies with the hoods pulled up and lighter-colored cargo pants, he said.
