A man told Fort Wayne Police on Monday that two men tried to rob him of 15 grams of crack, but because he didn't have any crack, they took his cell phone instead. He said one of the men was armed with a handgun.

The victim told police the robbery happened on April 11, but he feared that he would suffer “retaliation” if he called police. Instead, he reported the robbery by showing up at the police department in person.

He told police he had no idea who the robbers were.
