Body of man pulled from river Sunday is identified

The Allen County Coroner’s Office has positively identified the body of a man was pulled from the St. Joseph River on Sunday.

The body of 58-year-old Jeffery Bultemeier was found at 10:50 a.m. Sunday by Department of Natural Resources conservation office Randy Clear. While the cause of Bultemeier's death, drowning, has been released, the manner has not. Those designations include homicide, suicide and accidental.

The case remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
