Tip of the Hat

Tip of the hat to all volunteers, but especially our friend who will be 94 in May. Among her sites is the airport since inception. She's active, still drives, was at Lincoln Museum from opening to closing. Kevin Leininger wrote a front-page article on her when she guided Marie Osmond to buy Vera Bradley items in the airport gift shop.Tip of the hat to a little boy who had his fifth birthday on St. Patrick's Day. He's enrolled in a pre-Kindergarten school and a classmate hit him. He arrived home and told his mother. She immediately asked, “You didn't hit him back, did you?” He said, “No, because he broke my feelings.”
Thank you to the nice person who paid for my breakfast at McDonald's on Stellhorn Road at the drive-up on a Sunday in April. It was a bad morning for me, but that really made me feel good. Again, thank you very much, and I will pay it forward to someone else.
