Letter to the editor: GOP should stay true to the Bible

Some GOP leaders are wanting their party to be more like the Democratic platform that is becoming increasingly anti-Bible with same-sex marriage, etc. This could be a mistake because over 70 percent of Americans still say they are Christians, and more want their children to obey the Ten Commandments.

It would be better to lose the election for president than to vote against the Bible. Matthew 16:26 says, “What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his own soul.”
