Thank you to the nearly 100 volunteers who helped The Friends of the Parks of Allen County Inc. at the May 4 Revealing Our Rivers event. This event was made possible through collaboration with Tri-State Watershed Alliance, Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department, the city of Fort Wayne, Downtown Improvement District, the Crossing Education Center, Park Center, and numerous neighborhood volunteers. Volunteers worked hard to take down invasive trees and vines, trim trees, chip brush, and pick up trash to clear vistas at seven sites along the St. Marys River. As you are enjoying the Rivergreenway and the TRF Raft Race this summer, you will be sure to enjoy the views created through this event.

Revealing our Rivers 2013 Committee, Dan Ernst, Friends of the Parks Board Member; Robin Holley, Friends of the Parks Manager; Frank Howard, Downtown Improvement District; Alec Johnson, Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation; Chad Tinkel, Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation; Dan Wire, Tri-State Watershed Alliance
