Motorcycle rider hurt in wreck near West Noble High School

A motorcycle rider from Albion was injured Thursday morning when a Goshen motorist turned into his path in Noble County.

Indiana State Police report that the crash happened about 7:30 a.m. on U.S. 33 in front of West Noble High School. Ned Shisler, 55, of Albion was riding north on the highway when a 2006 Jeep started turning left onto the campus of the high school.

Shisler could not stop his 1988 Harley Davidson in time and crashed into the passenger side of the Jeep. Police report that his legs were injured in the crash. He was taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center. The 29-year-old driver of the Jeep was unhurt in the wreck.
