A tip of the hat and many thanks to Dan Burns and the employees at New Haven Pizza Hut. Dan and his staff went over and above great customer service in taking the time to help our students with special needs make their own pizzas on our recent field trip. Dan and our waitress, Karin, treated each student with respect, patience and understanding. In a world where everyone is in such a hurry, it was refreshing to experience a place where respect for people, no matter their abilities, comes first and there is genuine interest in serving. Thanks Dan and Karin for your caring hearts.
My brother and I were at Lowe's on South Coliseum (Boulevard) Saturday May 4 picking up some lawn products. We had a blowout on our right front tire and called our service to have them come and put our spare on, basically because we are over 65 years old and never changed tires on this dually truck. Finally, after an hour, a guy came up (his name was Barry Jeffrey) and offered to change the tire on this big Ford 350 dually truck. What a wonderful person to do this. We give him so much gratitude.
