Passenger-rail film screening set for June 28

To help update the public on the progress of passenger rail service in northeast Indiana, the Northeast Passenger Rail Association will show “Trainsforming America” with Director Rebecca Sansom at 6:30 p.m. June 28 in the University of Saint Francis Performing Arts Center, 411 W. Berry St. A reception will begin at 5:45 p.m., and Sansom will be available for questions after the screening.Christian Wolmar, author of "The Great American Revolution: The History of American Railroads," called the film “a basic primer on why trains are wonderful and, oddly, how to use them.” More information about the film is available at www.trainsformingamericafilm.com.
