•State Alliance of Indiana YMCA's has hired Brent Wake, director of Health Living Initiatives to participate in the YMCA's Statewide Pioneering Healthier Communities. He will be supported by Marty Pastura, YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne and other statewide volunteer committee members.

•T-E INCORPORATED new operations manager is Jeff Geller. He is a Purdue graduate with over twenty years of operations and management experience.
•Spherion owners Tom and Elizabeth Pentenburg have received the 2013 Spherion Owner of the Year Award for consistently building, maintaining and advancing profitable growth on a yearly basis. They own two Spherion franchises in Fort Wayne.
•STAR Bank welcomes Lisa Kuhn Phillips as vice president marketing and communications. She has 25 years experience in financial services including operations integration, organizational and leadership development and business culture and branding. She earned a finance degree from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Glenn Bogan has been promoted to vice president electronic banking. His 15 year career with STAR spans retail sales, retail product and electronic delivery areas, assuming position of increasing responsibilities in both management and leadership. He earned a bachelor's degree in management for Indiana Tech and is presently working towards his MBA.
•Greater Fort Wayne Inc. announces the following appointed interim positions. Mick McCollum, interim chief operating officer for Greater Fort Wayne Inc. He will continue to perform his duties as interim president at the Alliance. He will be responsible for developing and managing the transition of operations, including financial management, office space, administration, and human resources. Mike Landram will continue to head the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce with his concentrated focus being on Chamber functions, including member relations and recruitment, government affairs, and graduate retention. He will work to ensure coordination of all membership communications through Marla Schneider. Marla Schneider will lead the departments of marketing, communications and technology during the transition phase. She will be responsible for all GFW public relations and consolidation of marketing materials as well as technology planning during the transition. Deb Boyd will be responsible for consolidating finance systems of GFW. She will also provide support for the transition of HR policies and technology.
