Fighting Irish perfume will be coming to a stadium near you

Did you hear the news that the University of Notre Dame is planning a new perfume line just in time for football season? The Notre Dame fragrance will sell for $60 per 3.4-ounce bottle, or about mid-range price for items at the concession stand. The scent has yet to be revealed, but it's presumed to be a combination of freshly mowed grass, bratwursts and beer.

Other reported sports perfumes in the works:

Eau de LeBron: Smells like endorsement money.

Eau de Tom Brady: Smells like Gisele.

Eau de Tebow: Smells righteous.San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick threw out the first ball at a Giants game last week and his pitch was clocked at 87 mph. Kaepernick was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 2009, but chose to go into professional sports instead.Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade has released a fitness app called “Dwyane Wade Driven,” that includes basketball drills and a fitness routine. The first users reported that within two hours, they were so tired all they could do was flop on the floor.The owner of Story Nightclub in Miami declined to charge the Miami Heat players for $100,000 in champagne they ordered after winning the NBA Finals over the San Antonio Spurs. That's good news because, if there's anything that this world needs now, it's free drinks for millionaire athletes.President Obama called Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra on Friday afternoon to congratulate him on his second-straight championship. Obama knew Spoelstra had a great game plan as soon as the NSA showed it to him three hours before tipoff.The Los Angeles Clippers reached a deal with the Boston Celtics that sends coach Doc Rivers to the Clippers and a 2015 first-round pick to the Celtics.

Most believe the deal will ensure that Chris Paul signs a new contract with the Clippers, since Paul knows Rivers is guaranteed to be his coach until Paul decides he wants a new one.The Big Ten will add the Holiday Bowl and Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl to its future postseason lineup. It's not finalized, but Big Ten teams are tentatively scheduled to lose to Pac-12 teams in both games.
