Indianapolis Tech senior forward among nation's best

Wednesday, June 26, 2013 - 11:44 pm

LOUISVILLE - The University of Louisville men's basketball program received positive news on the Cardinals' recruiting front Wednesday, as Evansville Bosse guard JaQuan Lyle announced that he would be playing for the Cardinals beginning in the 2014-15 season.

If the word spreading through social media is accurate, it may not be the only good news for the defending national champions. There were posts on Twitter Wednesday that Indianapolis Arsenal Tech High School senior forward Trey Lyles had narrowed his choice of colleges to either Kentucky or Louisville. However, Lyles did not substantiate those tweets in any manner.

The 6-foot-8 forward spoke with the media earlier this month about the recruiting process, specifically dealing with the Wildcats and Cardinals, as well as explaining his decommitment from Indiana.
