Fort Wayne Police detectives made more than a dozen arrests Tuesday on prostitution and patronizing a prostitute charges after investigations of several massage parlors and hotels, police reported. Police also seized almost $2,000 used by suspects during the alleged crimes. The Fort Wayne Police Department Vice/Narcotics Division working with the Fort Wayne-Allen County Department of Health, conducted prostitution-enforcement investigations throughout the city to combat these crimes and the potential for both human trafficking and the sexually -transmitted diseases that accompany them. Staff from the health department were on hand to offer free STD testing for suspects during these investigations.
