Imagine an athletic, powerful white kid, who at present is not attending school. He is on his third suspension for drug use, violence and petty theft. He is under the influence of marijuana in his system. He engages in a confrontation with a black man.
The black man is weaker, and less coordinated. He is a member of a team trying to prevent the numerous break-ins and vandalism in his neighborhood. He is married with children. He becomes terrified in fear of losing his life.
Martin Luther King says we should not judge on the color of your skin alone.
