A tip of the hat to Dennis of Small Fab & Welding Services in Harlan. He welded my weather vane and would not charge me for it. He did a wonderful job, and it looks great. Thank you so much, and God bless you!A big thank you to the teenage girl who found my purse at the Chapel Ridge Walmart on July 3 and turned it into the customer service department. You don't know how much I appreciate it. It is wonderful to hear about the honest teens. What a blessing you are!

A great big tip of the hat to the officers and board members of the Central Catholic Alumni Association, Susan Prowant, Sylvia Tjaden, Laura Stuckey, Grace Ley, Patty Hartman-Hoeppner, Margie Bauer, Leanne Mensing, Tony Martone, Martin Tierney and George Haggenjos, plus Pete Prowant and Marc Tjaden, for all of their great school spirit and efforts in planning our ninth CCHS all-alumni class reunion on June 15 at Classic Café. Go Irish!

Thank you, Billie Rykard, for working hard every day for the Belle Vista-Allendale neighborhood. Your hard work shows, and we appreciate it!

We wish to extend a big thank you to Mehrdad Dehmiri, owner of Sunrise Café, and his entire staff for treating his customers so nicely. We are always treated as family. The food is wonderful, as is the service. We thank them all.

A huge tip of the hat to the Fort Wayne VA Nothern Indiana Healthcare System hospital and staff. Their competent, caring, thoughtful and organized efforts truly amaze and are appreciated by this Korean Conflict veteran. Keep up the great work.
