Since volunteering with my grandmother for the Indianapolis project, OHMH has grown even closer to my heart. During this precious time I connected with my grandmother, who suffers from dementia, in a way I have never witnessed before. To see her love for other people by providing time and service, I saw her more than just my grandmother but as a strong, hardworking, caring woman. While working with this organization, not only does it have a positive impact on those selected for assistance, but it touches the lives of everyone involved.
I spoke to the director of OHMH, George Sisler, and 100 percent of all donations given will go directly to the supplies for the next project. George, who lives in Pickerington, Ohio, just came back from Cuba, and OHMH has decided since the need is so severe, there will be a huge project scheduled to help the clinics in Cuba.
While I work toward this race, any support for the fantastic work this organization is doing to change lives is very much appreciated. To learn more, please check out the website: www.crowdrise.com/oneheart-manyhands/fundraiser/angelakritsch#sthash.zQSPOt33.dpuf
