Health briefs: Survey input sought

The Indiana Aged Blind and Disabled Task Force is currently conducting a survey on managed cared and Medicaid as well as home and community-based services for all types of people with disabilities. Results will be discussed at a public input session at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 19 in the Indiana Government Center-South, Conference Room A, Indianapolis. The meeting is open. People are invited to share brief comments and thoughts about this study.To take the survey, go online to www.surveymonkey.com/s/ABDStudySurvey.Alzheimer's Association will hold a free workshop 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, at the Adams County Memorial Hospital, 1100 Mercer Ave., Decatur. Topic will be “Memory Loss, Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease: The Basics.” Registration is required.
