An early morning fire resulted in moderate damage to an apartment complex.

Firefighters were dispatched to 1927 Hazelwood Ave. around 4:09 a.m. to investigate a report of a fire at Stratford Place Apartments, according to the Fort Wayne Fire Department. Upon arrival three minutes later, responders found fire coming from a window on the first floor.
