Police search for missing Fort Wayne boy, age 8

An 8-year-old boy is missing, and Fort Wayne Police are asking the public's help in locating him.Donald A. Asher Jr. is described as about 4 feet tall, weighing about 69 pounds, white, with brown hair in a very short buzz cut. Donald was last seen wearing tan shorts, a white short-sleeve shirt, and flip-flop sandals. He was last seen at his home in the 1500 block of Spy Run Avenue at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday. His family believes he left home at around 8:30 a.m. Sunday.



The Fort Wayne Police Department activated the A Child Is Missing Alert System at about 10:58 a.m. Sunday and sent out recorded messages to residents' phones.
