Three men told Fort Wayne Police on Monday evening that they were robbed by men in a green van that approached them at the intersection of Crescent and Vermont avenues.

Police were dispatched there shortly after 8 p.m. Monday and found three men walking along Crescent who verified that they had been robbed by a man with what appeared to be a handgun. He was inside a van or minivan along with perhaps three other men, the victims told police. Among the victims, they turned over a cell phone, a debit card, $40 cash, identification, a package of cigarettes and a lighter. Victims told police the man who pointed a gun at them while they were robbed had pulled up his shirt to cover part of his face.A man told Fort Wayne Police early Tuesday morning that three men pulled a strong-arm robbery on him, then took his cell phone. The victim said he was walking along State Boulevard near Wells Street when the men approached and confronted him.
