Auburn Cord Duesenberg Auction starts this weekend

Friday, August 30, 2013 - 9:17 am

As the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Auction runs Labor Day weekend, The News-Sentinel visited John Kruse of Worldwide Auctioneers who gave us a test-drive in a 1940 Cadillac Series 75 Town Car.

Worldwide Auctioneers will be having a collector car auction during the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Auction at 6 p.m. Saturday at the National Auto and Truck Museum in Auburn, which is next door to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum.

Kruse said when test-driving a car always listen to see that the motor and transmission run well. "Just ask yourself, 'Does it feel right?'"

Auctioneers will be holding a collector car auction Saturday.
