Coliseum staff to reorganize, expand

A staff reorganization will change the duties of six jobs and create two more at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. The Coliseum’s board approved the changes Thursday, which include the addition of vice president/event services and systems and technology manager positions, which would pay $78,207 and $65,000, respectively.
The changes are to more closely align the positions and salaries with duties, and the new jobs are to address evolving technologies and to improve customer service, General Manager Randy Brown said, noting Coliseum revenues would fund the additional salaries.
The changes must still be approved by County Council.
