Bishop's Dwenger tennis star makes college choice

Bishop Dwenger junior tennis player Audrey Rang has signed her continue her career at Marian University in Indianapolis.

Rang has played in the state tennis finals in each of her first three years. She played No. 2 singles as a freshmen when the Saints advanced in the team competition, and the last two years she reached at least the semifinals in the girls doubles portion of the tournament while playing with Liz Maxson.

Rang was 23-1 as a singles player her first year and she and Maxson combined to go 23-1 and 26-2 each of the last two years in doubles. They lost the state championship match two years ago and finished fourth this year. Rang and her sister Ashlyn also recently won the City Tennis Tournament women's doubles title.
