Local teen photographers were honored Saturday at Allen County Public Library for photos they took as part of a photography contest.

The library solicited photos over the summer from area teens, and the winning photographs were framed and displayed in the Jeffrey R. Krull Gallery. Of the 431 photographs entered in the two different groups, grades 6-8 and grades 9-12, 32 were chosen to be part of the Teen Photography Exhibit.

A casual reception was held at the exhibit opening, and all participants, their friends and families were invited to attend. While at the reception, photographers had an opportunity to speak with the judges and receive feedback on their entries.
