Support group meets

Heritage Pointe Dementia Support Group will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at 801 Huntington Ave., 1A Activity Room, Warren. Topic will be “Dealing with Distress, Frustration and Anger.” The meeting is free.

Ride for the Red

Third annual 2013 Ride for the Red Blood Drive will be Saturday at Lucky Harley Davidson, 6315 Illinois Road. The ride honors fallen riders and helps raise awareness of safety for all on the roads as well as the constant need for blood.

Health fair

Whitko Community Schools will hold a Community Health Fair at 8 a.m.-noon Sept. 28 at Whitko Middle School, Indiana 5 south of Larwill. Lab tests and flu shots will be available at a minimal cost, CPR training, dental hygiene, vision screening, dietary specialist, fun obstacle courses, Lutheran Air helicopter and more.
