Fort Wayne's 122nd participates in emergency response exercise: VIDEO

The 122nd Fighter Wing, based at Fort Wayne International Airport, held a joint forces civil support team emergency management exercise Sept. 18-19. The two-day multi-stage exercise dealt with regional emergency response, assessment and action between the military and civilians. The 5th Civil Support Team, of Bartonville, Ill., was one unit involved in the exercise. The 5th CST is comprised of both Air and Army National Guardsmen.

Other units involved were the 122nd Fighter Wing's emergency management and fire department; 181st Intelligence Wing, emergency management, Indiana Army National Guard's 53rd Civil Support Team, the U.S. Department of Energy and the Fort Wayne Fire Department.
