Letter to the editor: May justice prevail for those in Kenya

Monday, September 30, 2013 - 9:49 am

My heart goes to motherland Kenya, Africa, as they mourn the death of all loved ones in the Kenya mall attack. I mourn here as Kenyans mourn there.

Kenya is where I grew up as a refugee under the care of UNHCR and the Kenya police force. As I listen to Al Jazeera and see disturbing images from the attack scene, I wish all safe.

Much thanks to President Uhuru, who showed a sign of boldness and hope in difficult times like this — I wish Kenya safety always. Whoever did such an attack should face justice.
