Letter to the editor: We can do better

Tuesday, October 1, 2013 - 12:01 am

Some guidelines for better government:

Term limits so you can enjoy your laws.

 Pay limits, and if it is too expensive to live in D.C., try some of that affordable housing and food stamp food.

Your medical should be the same as you give vets and in the same hospitals with the same doctors.

When you stop using security for your protection, then you can tell me that I have no right to a firearm.

You may be a politician, but you are still just another human being.

When you make all your perks public, we will make our lives public.

By the way, pleading the Fifth doesn’t excuse stupid.

When you decide to actually read the laws, maybe we will agree to be governed by them.

And finally, doublespeak is the white stuff on top of chicken do-do. It’s more chicken do-do.
