Friday, October 4, 2013 - 4:50 pm

The clerk at a storage-rental facility on the south side of Fort Wayne was robbed at gunpoint about 3:30 p.m. Thursday, according to an incident report from Fort Wayne Police.

The victim told police that two men in an older, beige, four-door Oldsmobile with heavily tinted windows parked the car very close to the office entrance to the facility in the 5000 block of Bluffton Road. One came inside, pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at her and told the clerk to give him money from the business and her purse. She turned over the money, and the robber left, the clerk told police.

The robber was described as being a black man about 30 years old, 6 feet 1 or 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a dark complexion and muscular build. He was clean-shaven, the clerk told police. He was wearing a red hoodie, gray sweats and leather gloves. Another man was driving the car, but the windows were too heavily tinted for a witness to describe him.

The men took off, driving south on Bluffton Road, the victim told police.
