Top teams continue to prevail, rank high

Friday, October 04, 2013 11:38 pm
NEW HAVEN (7-0) — Bulldogs earn at least a share of NHC championship with another blowout win. 2 LEO (7-0) — Lions had much more difficult time with Woodlan than most thought they would.

NORTH SIDE (4-3) — Redskins have easiest path to a SAC championship of three contenders.

WAYNE (5-2) — I can hardly wait for the season-ending Wayne vs. Snider match-up.

BISHOP DWENGER (5-2) — Saints bounce back with respectable performance against state power.

SNIDER (5-2) — Panthers drive all the way to Elkhart to find their offense.

CARROLL (5-2) — 14 days ago, Chargers were in 6th place in NHC. Now it looks like a lock for 2nd.

CONCORDIA LUTHERAN (4-3) — Cadets are a 2-point conversion away from having won 5 straight.

HOMESTEAD (5-2) — Shakiest performance by Sparty D all season long. At worst time.

WOODLAN (4-3) — Warriors fare very well against ACAC behemoth, but still lose.

EAST NOBLE (5-2) — Knights will have rest of NHC cheering them on next week against New Haven.

CHURUBUSCO (7-0) — Not saying much, but that was Eagles' most impressive win all year.

HERITAGE (5-2) — Is this what the Patriots have become? A consistently good program?

COLUMBIA CITY (3-4) — Eagles' D to be tested yet again next week vs. Carroll.

SOUTH SIDE (2-4) — Archers would have much better record in lesser leagues.

BLUFFTON (4-3) — Tigers have to shore up defensive woes in order to win again.

BELLMONT (3-4) — Braves get a week respite against Barons next Friday.

ADAMS CENTRAL (4-3) — Flying Jets will have one last shot at a W next week at Bluffton.

NORTHROP (2-5) — Bruins defense has been, and will continue to be, beaten into submission.

NORWELL (2-5) — Sparty's trip to Ossian now doesn't look so easy.

GARRETT (4-3) — Victory over Starfires snaps 2-game skid. Another starts next week.

SOUTH ADAMS (2-5) — The road doesn't get any easier next week (at Woodlan) for Starfires.

BISHOP LUERS (0-7) — The woes all start up front with shaky line play by Knights.

DeKALB (0-7) — What else is there to say about Barons at this point? Nothing, is the answer.
