Robinson hurt his knee late in Friday night's Hoosier Hysteria scrimmage. The 6-4, 193-pounder scored six points while showing some of the explosiveness that made him the No. 56 rated player in the Class of 2013.
A release on IU's website said Robinson, “participated in team activities with the Varsity Club prior to (Saturday's) football game against Penn State and was dressed at practice.”
The release also said Robinson is "beginning treatment and daily evaluation."
Robinson is a high-energy player expected to be a big contributor this season. Coach Tom Crean called him a “Very unique, unorthodox type of player. He can do a lot of different things. He can handle the ball. He's as good a downhill player as we have right now outside of (point guard Yogi Ferrell) when it comes to playing the game.”
Vonleh and Williams are expected to return to practice this week. Fischer is a couple weeks away from returning.
IU is set to play its first exhibition game against the University of Southern Indiana on Oct. 26.
